Why does Windows or Android warn me about the app?
Because the apps are new and still in their building phase. Windows warns about installers that do not yet carry a paid publisher certificate, and Android's Play Protect warns about apps installed from outside the Play Store. Both warnings are about how new the app is, not about anything it does. Download only from this page and you have the genuine Elec-Buddy app.
Do I need to pay again for the app?
No. The app is free. Sign in with the account you already have and it opens with your current plan.
Do I need to update the app for new notes?
No. New notes, questions and fixes appear in the app as soon as they are on the website. A new download is only needed in the rare case we change the app itself, and we will tell you when.
Why can't I take screenshots in the app?
Screenshots and screen recording are switched off in the app to protect the course material that cadets pay for.
Does it work without internet?
Not yet. Offline study is coming to the apps on paid plans: you will download your course once on a good connection, then study with no signal for up to 14 days. Until then the apps, like the website, need a connection. If you open the app with no connection, it shows the layout and tells you what needs one.
